Our twin head wall mounted drench hoses are the ideal addition to standard eyewash and safety shower facilities.
Model S0406 complies with the ANSI Z358.1-2014 standard for both an eyewash and drench hose. This dual use model can be used as either a fixed eyewash if left in its wall holder, or removed from the holder to be used as a drench hose.
The drench hoses provide a source of emergency water which can be directed to the area most affected, this is ideal where the injured person may not be able to stand at a traditional eye wash unit, or has collapsed.
The twin head emergency drench hoses are ideal for use in factories, chemical plants, foundries, workshops, and any workplace that requires emergency eye wash facilities. The hi-viz yellow detailing make them easily visible, and a simple design makes them easy to operate.
The twin head emergency drench hose is mounted on a yellow galvanised steel wall bracket, with two ABS yellow plastic eye/face wash spray heads with flip up dust covers, stay-open valve with squeeze lever and a 2438 mm reinforced yellow PVC hose.
ANSI Z358.1 – 2014 states that drench hoses can be used as supplements, but do not replace other types of emergency equipment.

With regards to safety eye washing, the ANSI sets standards for water temperature and flow rate, as well as location and maintenance requirements. Our safety wall mounted eye washing pods conform to ANSI Z358.1-2009.
