Description
Our pedestal eye wash station is constructed from stainless steel and ABS plastic, both in a high-visibility yellow finish to enhance visibility. The fact that the unit is floor mounted means that it can be installed close to especially dangerous areas of your workspace. In some larger facilities, a wall mounted unit would take too long to reach in an emergency - a pedestal eye wash unit is the perfect solution.
Pedestal eye wash fountains are turned on by a simple low resistance lever and can also be customised to include a foot control if desired. The nozzles are protected from airborne contaminants by dust caps which automatically open when the unit is activated. We also include an inspection tag to facilitate the weekly functional testing that is required in order to meet the ANSI safety regulations. We also sell a pedestal eye wash fountain with a stainless steel bowl for even greater durability.
